Using social network analysis to understand how interpersonal trust and social connections influence organ donation attitudes and behaviors
Trust in organ donation is a key determinant of donation rates worldwide. We investigate how social networks, interpersonal relationships, and beliefs shape public trust and how it affects people's willingness to donate.
By mapping trust networks, we identify how information and attitudes flow through professionals, patients, and families, keeping trust at the core with a cross-cultural view.
Our goal is to provide a better understanding of organ donation determinants and evidence-based strategies to help health organizations foster ethically grounded trust in organ donation systems.
